4 Beaten to Death at Home in Apparent Robbery

HOLLY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An elderly couple and their visiting son and daughter-in-law were beaten to death in their beds during an apparent robbery.
Police said someone had gotten into the house through a broken basement window.
A granddaughter found the bodies Sunday after walking through an unlocked front door, police said. The house, in a middle-class neighborhood, had been ransacked.
Police would not say what kind of weapon was used and reported no suspects.
