Marchibroda’s Job Safe for Now
Baltimore Raven owner Art Modell says he will retain Ted Marchibroda for the time being, but stopped short of guaranteeing the embattled coach the job until the end of the season.
The Ravens (2-6) have lost four straight games.
“Now is not the time to make any changes,” Modell told The Associated Press. “We will wait until we see where the course of the season takes us,”

Richmond Webb’s team-record streak of 118 consecutive starts will end when Miami plays Indianapolis. The 320-pound left tackle tore the triceps in his left arm Sunday during the Dolphins’ 30-24 loss at Buffalo. He is expected to be sidelined six to eight weeks. . . .
