Coroner Identifies Body Found in Dumpster
A coroner’s official Friday identified a 14-year-old boy whose body was found in a dumpster earlier this week.
The body of Kenneth Elliott was discovered about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday behind an apartment building on Euclid Avenue, coroner’s spokesman Scott Carrier said. Kenneth, of Anaheim, had been visiting relatives in Lynwood before his death, Carrier said.
As of Friday afternoon, the cause of the boy’s death had not been determined, but investigators are treating it as a homicide.
