Flintridge Prep 17, Chadwick 13--The Rebels scored on their first three possessions of the second half to claim a Prep League victory at Duarte High.
Chadwick (3-6, 1-3) had a 13-0 halftime lead but Randy Chandler put the Rebels (6-3, 2-2) on the scoreboard with a 33-yard field goal that was set up by a 55-yard kickoff return by J.P. Blecksmith to start the second half.
Blecksmith found Peter Twist on scoring pass plays of 37 and 43 yards on Flintridge Prep’s next two possessions. Twist’s first touchdown capped a 10-play, 69-yard drive and the second ended a five-play, 55-yard drive.
Blecksmith completed six of 10 passes for 109 yards with the two touchdowns and one interceptions. Twist finished with three receptions for 91 yards.
