Design Plans Approved for Gym, Parking Area
The county Board of Supervisors has approved design plans for a new gymnasium at Loma Alta Park.
The 8,900-square-foot gym will also have a new parking area. The existing basketball court will be relocated.
Construction of the gym and a similar facility at Pamela Park in Temple City will begin in the spring of 2000, said Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich.
“This action will provide year-around sports and related activities including basketball, volleyball, gymnastics and dance classes for our communities,” Antonovich said.
