Share

A Simi Valley resident has been arrested on suspicion of fraud after allegedly billing Spanish Hills Golf and Country Club for food that was never delivered.

Jarrett Craig Inkeles billed the Camarillo country club for $207,976 worth of food products never delivered to the club’s restaurant, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. Inkeles, who allegedly used the alias Jerry Craig, operated both Royal Food Sales and Oxnard Specialties, authorities said.

The billings began in June 1995 and continued until February of this year, authorities said. The club’s owner, American Golf Corp., notified the Sheriff’s Department of the alleged crime in March.
