Stating that “an adequate supply of milk at affordable prices contributes to the health, safety and welfare of the community,” the City Council this week followed through with its promise to oppose the rising cost of milk in California.

Mad About Milk, a coalition of groups working to eliminate barriers to competition and consumer choice, asked the City Council to urge repeal of California’s “protectionist milk marketing regulations.”
