FULLERTON
The city has been honored by the National League of Cities for its downtown revitalization program--the third award received this year. The program, called Fullerton 2000 and Beyond, received an honorable mention in the James C. Howland Awards for Urban Enrichment. The city will donate the $500 cash prize to Fullerton Heritage, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Fullerton’s historic buildings.
