HUNTINGTON BEACH
Monique Powell, lead singer for the ska group Save Ferris, has such fond memories of her years at Golden West College that she is going to share her talents with students and the public on Wednesday.
Powell will be the guest for a joint meeting of two classes, Music Forum and Inside the Music Industry, at 2 p.m. The public is invited to sit in on the classes at no charge, but seating in the college’s Forum II Music Hall is limited to about 300.
College officials suggest parking in the Gothard Street lot on the east side of the campus, at 15744 Golden West St. Information: (714) 895-8367.
