In a recent Q&A; (“Don’t Count Him Out Yet,” Oct. 25), retiring UCLA/Hammer Museum Director Henry Hopkins stated: “Art issues. has certainly been the longest surviving art magazine published [in Los Angeles], but it does not have a wide national distribution.” For the record, Art issues. in fact reaches more than 10,000 readers in 45 states; 70% of our circulation is outside Southern California, with special concentration in New York, Texas and Illinois.
