ANAHEIM
* Winston Road: A report of a forced residential burglary at 12:14 a.m Nov. 18 in the 2500 block.
BREA
* East Imperial Highway: Officials at the Wal-Mart in the 2500 block reported Nov. 17 that they received 21 bad checks, including forged checks and four counterfeit travelers checks, from February to October.
BUENA PARK
* Beach Boulevard: Police received a report of two spare tires worth about $1,000 stolen from underneath a parked white Ford station wagon at 10:54 a.m. Nov. 16 in the 7000 block.
COSTA MESA
* Victoria Street: Officers investigated a report of marijuana possession at 1:50 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block.
* Flower Street: Police responded to a traffic crash with injuries at Sunflower Avenue about 10 a.m. Sunday.
CYPRESS
* Larwin Avenue: An auto burglary was reported at 7:16 a.m. Nov. 18 in the 4100 block.
* Dorset Drive: Vandalism was reported at 8:39 a.m. Nov. 18 in the 4200 block.
DANA POINT
* Pointe Stirling: Report of a robbery alarm at 1:43 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 32000 block.
FOUNTAIN VALLEY
* Brookhurst Street: A man allegedly opened four accounts at a bank in the 18500 block, deposited counterfeit payroll checks and received cash back at 4 p.m. Nov. 20.
FULLERTON
* West Hill Avenue: A residential burglary was reported at 11:57 a.m. Nov. 18 in the 600 block.
* West Commonwealth Avenue: A 1992 two-tone gray Chevrolet Astrovan was reported stolen at 2:28 a.m. Nov. 18 in the 2300 block.
GARDEN GROVE
* Bolsa Avenue: Police are searching for two men in connection with an armed robbery at a Baskin-Robbins ice cream store that yielded $100 in cash Nov. 20. Both men were seen running north on Bushard Avenue after the 8:15 p.m. incident.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Mossford Drive: Police received a report that two tires on a VW Bug had been slashed at 6:47 a.m. Monday, but investigators later determined the damage had been inflicted by the owner.
IRVINE
* Fortune Drive: Police arrested a man at 11:49 p.m. Nov. 21 for brandishing a butterfly knife in the Irvine Spectrum entertainment center.
* Parkview Lane: A 1997 Honda Civic was reported stolen in the 3800 block at 7:15 a.m. Nov. 22.
LA HABRA
* East Jamie Avenue: A residential burglary was reported at 7:27 a.m. Nov. 18 in the 500 block.
* South Palm Street: A petty theft was reported at 2:42 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 400 block.
LA PALMA
* Cartagena Circle: A citizen reported that someone set his tree on fire at 6:12 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 5000 block. Investigators found that his fireplace lacked a spark screen, allowing cinders to float out of the chimney, igniting his tree and a neighbor’s tree. Fires caused minimal damage.
LAGUNA BEACH
* South Coast Highway: Officers found a juvenile who had attended a wedding but was too drunk to remember where he was staying. They called several hotels before finally finding his mother, who picked him up at the police station about 1:45 a.m. Sunday.
* Frontage Road: Police responded to a bar fight involving about four people in a parking lot in the 800 block. One man was cut in the face with a beer bottle about 3 a.m. Sunday and a Malibu resident was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. He was held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

LOS ALAMITOS
* Los Alamitos Boulevard: Arson investigators began looking into a suspicious fire at a vacant store at 1:50 a.m. Sunday. It appears the blaze was started when somebody lit a toilet paper roll.

NEWPORT BEACH
* Premiere Point: Officers investigated an audible burglar alarm in the 100 block at 2:15 p.m. and again at 3 p.m. Nov. 17.
* Ford Road: Officers on Wednesday investigated the theft of a weed whacker that a landscaper left on a sidewalk near Jamboree Road while he worked nearby. He said three men in a van drove up, one hopped out, grabbed the tool and jumped back into the van. The men sped off, laughing, as the landscaper yelled at them to stop.
ORANGE
* South Flower Street: Police investigated a forced-entry burglary at a business at 3:55 p.m. Sunday.
PLACENTIA
* East Orangethorpe Avenue: A report of a commercial burglary Nov. 19 at 6:12 a.m. Window was smashed, a cash register, valued at $200 taken, later found in a parking lot.
SAN CLEMENTE
* Avenida Pelayo: Report of a robbery alarm triggered at 3:43 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 200 block.
* Via Alegre: Report of a robbery alarm at 8:51 a.m. Nov. 17 in the 200 block.
* Marquita Way: Report of an abandoned vehicle at 3:36 p.m. Nov. 17 in 100 block.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
* Avenida Aeropuerto: Report of a robbery alarm at 10:47 a.m. Nov. 16 in the 26000 block.
SANTA ANA
* North Riverine Avenue: A man was arrested on suspicion of grand theft after police allegedly found him with a stolen bicycle at 5:05 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 1000 block.
SEAL BEACH
* Ocean Avenue: A surfboard was reported stolen from a backyard at 7:02 p.m. Nov. 18.
STANTON
* Katella Avenue: An robbery alarm was triggered in the 7000 block at 6:18 p.m. Nov. 17.

* North Yorba Street: A cell phone was reported stolen in the 13600 block at 5 p.m. Nov. 17.
