Holiday Closings
The following schedules are in effect:
* All city, county, state and federal offices will be closed today. City offices in San Clemente and Tustin will be closed through Monday.
* County and state courthouses will be closed. Federal court will be open for emergency filings only.
* City and county libraries will be closed today. However, the Newport Beach Central Library will be open.
* Banks and savings and loans will be open.
* Schools: Orange County public schools, Chapman University, UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton and all community colleges will be closed. Some public schools and community colleges will also be closed Monday. Call for information.
* Mail: Regular delivery and post office hours.
* Trash: Pickups will be a day late, except in Anaheim, Brea, Garden Grove, Orange, Placentia, Yorba Linda, Villa Park and Fullerton. In those cities, only Thursday pickups will be delayed.
* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on regular schedules.
* MetroLink: Trains will run on regular schedules.
* Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open.
