* British pharmaceutical giant Glaxo Wellcome named George J. Morrow, managing director of its British operating company, president and chief executive of its U.S. unit. Morrow, 46, replaces Robert Ingram, who will remain chairman of the U.S. unit, effective Jan. 1.

* Computer Associates International Inc. agreed to buy network management technology from Germany’s Siemens under undisclosed terms. The software maker will integrate Siemens’ TransView product into its Unicenter TNG management software.
