Greg Adams scored with 57 seconds remaining in the third period to lift the Phoenix Coyotes to a 2-1 exhibition victory over the Dallas Stars on Wednesday night in Minneapolis before a crowd of 18,294--the largest to see a pro hockey game in Minnesota.

The game was sponsored in part by the Minnesota Wild, which will enter the NHL as an expansion team in the 2000-01 season.
