Camarillo 27, Buena 21--Brent Rose’s one-yard touchdown run with 22 seconds remaining--his second score of the game--lifted the Scorpions (2-2) at Camarillo.

Camarillo quarterback Garrett Valencia completed nine of 17 passes for 122 yards and a touchdown. Valencia led the final 80-yard drive with 26 yards rushing and 23 yards passing.

D.J. Blackledge had a 24-yard touchdown run with 3:25 remaining that gave Buena (1-3) a 21-10 lead. Blackledge had 118 yards and two touchdowns in 18 carries.

Camarillo’s Gregory Rountree was the game’s leading rusher with 123 yards in 25 carries.

Buena’s Kyle Loughman completed 11 of 23 passes for 149 yards. He connected on an 11-yard touchdown to Cody Murphy, who had five catches for 71 yards.
