Hancock 42, Valley 18--Travis Winn led the Monarchs (1-2) on 15 of 32 passing for 213 yards and one touchdown but it was not enough in a WSC interdivision game at Valley.

Hancock had 498 yards, 391 of it on the ground. Three Bulldog backs had more than 100 yards.

Winn’s 12-yard pass early in the second quarter to Milt Wynn brought the Monarchs to within 14-10 before Hancock (4-0) ran away.

Wynn led Valley with five receptions for 66 yards.

Running back Chris Lester led Hancock with 145 yards in 15 carries, including touchdowns of 20, 43 and three yards.
