Shots Fired During Nightclub Robbery
Two gunmen fired shots Monday in a nightclub robbery, but no one was injured, police said.
Patrons at Chasers, 2425 Orangethorpe Ave., were ordered to the floor by the robbers and forced to turn over their wallets, purses and jewelry during the 8:59 p.m. holdup, Sgt. Dave Stanko said. The gunmen also looted the cash registers.
Stanko did not say how much money was taken.
During the robbery, the men fired their guns an unspecified number of times, but no one was hit.
No arrests have been made.
