Nordhoff 42, Malibu 7--Joey Briglio rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns in 10 carries to help the Rangers (2-4) win a league opener at Nordhoff.
Briglio scored two first-quarter touchdowns on runs of 13 and four yards as Nordhoff built a 21-0 lead. The Rangers extended the margin to 28-0 at the half on a one-yard touchdown run by Jessie Hawkins.
Nordhoff quarterback Brandon Titus threw only two passes, but completed them both for touchdowns. He had a 20-yard scoring pass to Scott Drew and a 31-yard touchdown pass to Justin Bracamonte.
