Former Hart High quarterback David Neill, returning from a one-game suspension, came off the bench to complete 20 of 26 passes for 480 yards and five touchdowns as Nevada defeated host Idaho, 58-23, Saturday in a Big West Conference game.
Neill, a freshman, sat out last week’s game against North Texas after his arrest for allegedly using a stolen phone credit card.
He threw touchdown passes of 80, 26, 16, 55 and 45 yards. The week before his suspension, he passed for an NCAA freshman record 611 yards.
