St. Genevieve vs. Bosco Tech, not played--St. Genevieve Coach Steve Page said there was miscommunication between the schools as to when the Santa Fe League game would take place. It originally was scheduled for Saturday night at Pius X-St. Matthias High in Downey.

Page said he received a call Friday night from St. Genevieve Athletic Director Tom Alvarez, who told him Bosco Tech had rescheduled the game for Friday and wanted to know why the Valiants did not show up.

“They told him they had faxed us twice [about the rescheduling],” Page said, “and we never saw it.”
