A forum on services for older adults, Senior Summit II, will be hosted Sept. 16 by Orange County Supervisor Jim Silva at Seal Beach Leisure World.
The forum will cover issues that senior citizens face, including Social Security reform proposals and Medicare.
“Everyone is welcome to come, not just those over 60,” said Peggy J. Weatherspoon, director of the Area Agency on Aging, which is sponsoring the meeting along with Seal Beach Leisure World.
Those wishing to register for the free event should fax their name, address and lunch reservations to the agency at (714) 567-5021 or call (714) 567-7411.
The deadline to register is Wednesday. Leisure World is at 13533 Seal Beach Blvd.
