Father, 3 Sons Killed in Accident Near Tracy; 3 Hurt

TRACY, Calif. — A driver who over-corrected after drifting off the shoulder of a rural road was killed along with his three sons when he lost control of the car and was broadsided by oncoming traffic, authorities said.
Thanh Pham, 44, the driver of the out-of-control car, was killed on impact, along with Phoung Pham, 12, Gerry Pham, 11, and Vincent Nguyen, 10.
Thanh Pham’s nephew, John Bui, 10, survived Monday’s accident, along with two people in the oncoming car, the California Highway Patrol reported. The boy was was listed in critical condition Tuesday.
James Wasson, 56, of Concord, was listed in serious condition. His passenger, Myrna Wasson, also survived and was listed in critical condition.
