A 39-year-old woman who police described as a transient was charged Friday in the stabbing death of a man outside a Mid-City cafe.
Pamela Blount was arrested in the 5400 block of West Adams Boulevard, a few blocks from where Floyd Jerry Hunter, 55, was fatally stabbed with a kitchen knife on Monday night, said Los Angeles Police Det. Chris Barling of the LAPD South Bureau.
Barling said both were transient residents of the area near Club Fais Do-Do Cafe, which was closed the night Hunter was killed just outside the restaurant.
Police said Blount allegedly stabbed Hunter during an argument, and he died later at a hospital. Blount has been charged with murder.
