Charter Reform Panel to Meet Monday, Wednesday
The Elected Los Angeles Charter Reform Commission will meet Monday at 6 p.m. to discuss issues concerning proprietary departments, public works and the elections and recalls process.
The commission also will meet Wednesday to discuss community councils and alternative government structures, including proposed models, jurisdiction and how they will be constituted.
There will be a period for public comment and both meetings will be held downtown at the Department of Water and Power Building at 111 N. Hope St.
