Flames at Church Damage One Room
A fire Sunday night damaged a church at 127 S. Manchester Ave., firefighters said.
Flames broke out about 7:30 p.m., damaging a bedroom on the church’s second story. No injuries were reported.
Firefighters doused the fire in 15 minutes. The cause is under investigation.
Officials said they are unsure whether the church has been closed or is being used by a congregation.
