Police wrote 41 tickets and towed seven vehicles last week during a crackdown on drivers violating laws relating to pedestrians. Friday’s operation lasted four hours, from 8 a.m. to noon, at Hobart Street at Standard Avenue and Oxford at Main streets. Violations included driving without a license. The crackdown by the Pedestrian Accident Reduction Team was aimed at addressing the city’s high rate of pedestrian-involved deaths and injuries. Information: (714) 245-8200.
