* Update--Park was outstanding in spring training, going 2-1 with a 0.78 ERA in five starts. Park struck out 22 in 23 innings, but he was disappointed in his performance because he walked 10. Pitching coach Charlie Hough wasn’t concerned, though, because Park’s control problems occurred while he was working on his changeup. Stottlemyre signed a four-year, $32-million contract with the Diamondbacks in November after pitching for the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers last season. Stottlemyre had an average exhibition season, going 1-0 with a 4.02 ERA. Stottlemyre has been working on a split-fingered changeup.
