Early-bird readers up the coast can grab a cuppa java and tune in KKSB-FM New Country (106.3) for live country music by local talent from 7 to 8 a.m. today.

On-air personality Bonnie Campbell, who co-hosts the “Campbell and Collard” morning show from 5 to 9 a.m. weekdays, will perform her original country ballad, “One Earring.”

Long-timers on the Santa Barbara country scene, Spaghetti Western will join Campbell in the studio to perform one of its original tunes. And you can bet there will be some surprises from a band known for its clever, innovative lyrics.

For an evening of country cover and some originals, catch Campbell performing with Spaghetti Western on Saturday at the Creekside Inn. Show time is 9 p.m. This casual establishment is at 4444 Hollister Ave. in Goleta. For more details, call 964-5118.
