ORANGE
Dogs and cats that got rained out of a low-cost, neighborhood vaccination clinic this week will have a makeup day Tuesday. Along with standard vaccinations, the Southern California Veterinary Assn. also will offer de-worming treatments on a trial basis for dogs.
Canines may get vaccines for rabies and the six-in-one DHLLPP for $16. Shots for coronavirus and bordetella are $9 each and the de-worming treatment is $12. Cats may receive a rabies vaccine and the annual four-in-one shot for $16.
All dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers. The clinic runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Orange County Animal Shelter, 561 City Drive South. Information: (562) 948-4979.
