Deadline Extended for New Grand Jury
A shortage of applicants for the next grand jury has prompted the county to extend the deadline until April 23, according to the court executive officer and jury commissioner.
The 1999-2000 grand jury convenes in the summer and spends a year addressing issues of concern to Ventura County residents.
Efforts are made each year to include a demographic cross-section, according to a statement released by the county’s Superior Court.
