IRVINE

Dave Arch, an author of training resource books, will be keynote speaker at a technology exhibition and workshop Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Irvine Valley College. The free event, “Technology Showcase in Distance Learning,” will feature numerous technology-based exhibitions, including new online communication resources. “Distance learning” is the term for teaching students--or a company’s staff--by satellite or through the Internet.
