Mike Marciano’s third double of the night scored Jermaine Clark to give Lancaster a 2-1, 13-inning victory over San Bernardino before 3,013 Thursday night at the Hangar.

Second baseman Brett Illig of San Bernardino made the third unassisted triple play in California League history in the third inning. He made a diving catch of Harvey Hargrove’s line drive, tagged second base to double up Ramon Valera and tagged Clark coming over from first base.

Dodger Antonio Osuna started for San Bernardino in a rehabilitation stint, allowing two hits and striking out two in two innings.

When the Stampede defeated Lancaster, 9-4, on Wednesday night to open a six-game JetHawk homestand, it made a winner of Rick Burleson, former JetHawk manager who is now skipper for the Dodger affiliate. Burleson managed the JetHawks for two seasons, their second and third, and led the team to the playoffs each year.

The homestand continues Saturday with a 7:15 p.m. game against Visalia. There will be fireworks following the game. The JetHawks play the Oaks at 2 p.m. Sunday and again at 12:30 p.m. Monday. Sunday is “Kids’ Day” with special youth activities.
