Utilities Commission Moves to New Site

The California Public Utilities Commission began moving its downtown Los Angeles office and is scheduled to reopen at its new location at 320 W. 4th St., Suite 500, at noon Monday. New telephone numbers for the office will go into effect Monday, though documents cannot be submitted to the Los Angeles office until Tuesday. The new location is the historic Broadway Department Store Building on 4th Street between Broadway and Spring Street. The old office, at 1st and Broadway, did not meet earthquake safety standards.
