* South Harbor Boulevard: Report of a vehicle burglary in the 1300 block at 3:40 p.m. Thursday.

BREA

* Carbon Canyon Road at Olinda Drive: Report of a petty theft at 5:45 p.m. Sunday.

BUENA PARK

* San Lazar Circle: A resident reported at 11:03 p.m. Saturday that the rear sliding-glass door of the home was shattered by an unknown object.

COSTA MESA

* Wilson Street: A compact disc player and several items of jewelry worth $514 were stolen from a home in the 300 block sometime during April 13.

CYPRESS

* Lincoln Avenue: Report of a residential burglary in the 5700 block at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday.

DANA POINT

* Dana Strand Road: A robbery alarm in the 34000 block was triggered at 5:30 p.m. April 13.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Newland Street: A car window was smashed, and the speakers and radio were stolen, in the 17800 block at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday.

FULLERTON

* West Orangethorpe Avenue: A petty-theft arrest was made in the 900 block at 10:27 p.m. on Wednesday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Flint Street: Police said a 27-year-old man died after stabbing his 60-year-old mother multiple times and then himself in the stomach in the 12300 block at 9 p.m. April 13. The man died at the scene. The woman was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she is in critical condition.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Florida Street: Someone keyed three cars in the 2200 block at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

IRVINE

* Barranca Parkway at Culver Drive: Report that someone shot a pellet at a vehicle, damaging it, at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* South Coast Highway: Soda machines were broken into outside a grocery store in the 700 block; reported at 6:33 p.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Hillsdale Avenue: A blue Ford Ranger was stolen from a residential parking lot in the 24000 block; reported at 4:45 p.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Catbird Court: Someone in the 23900 block said checks and credit card information were stolen and used to obtain services from three Internet companies; reported at 8:45 a.m. April 13.
