* Equador Way: A resident in the 5800 block complained at 11:22 a.m. Saturday that juveniles were speeding up and down the street on mopeds.

* Harbor Boulevard: Report of a stolen bicycle worth $390 in the 2200 block at 7:35 p.m. April 14.

CYPRESS

* Katella Avenue: A petty theft arrest was made in the 6900 block at 12:07 a.m. Thursday.

* Condor Avenue: Someone broke into a building in the 11100 block by driving a car into the side of it; reported at 1 p.m. Friday.

* Greenview Place: Report of a residential burglary in the 3000 block at 6:08 p.m. Thursday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Chapman Avenue at Harbor Boulevard: Police said a man--described as Latino, 18 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches, medium build and with a slight mustache--stole a man’s wallet at gunpoint at 3:30 a.m. April 14 as the victim was walking home from his job. The victim heard the robbers in a car yell at him; when he turned around, one of the robbers displayed a semiautomatic handgun and demanded his wallet.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Alexandria Drive: A 12-year-old boy took his mother’s car out during the night in the 6500 block; reported at 5:31 a.m. Sunday.

IRVINE

* Barranca Parkway at Culver Drive: A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of shooting a 1990 Volvo with a pellet gun at 10:53 p.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* North Coast Highway: Someone paid a bicycle shop in the 400 block with a stolen check; reported at 9:14 a.m. Monday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Northrup Drive: Clothing, books, CDs and other personal items were stolen from an uncovered U-Haul trailer parked in front of a house in the 25000 block between 11 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Calle Malaga: A woman in the 30700 block said someone has been writing checks on her account; reported at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

LAKE FOREST

* Bake Parkway at Dimension Parkway: Sheriff’s deputies found the body of a 75-year-old Lake Forest man on the side of the road at 3 p.m. Saturday. It is unknown how the body wound up there, but deputies say the death was from natural causes.

LA PALMA

* Denise Circle: A 1977 Datsun was reported stolen in the 7800 block at 1:07 p.m. Saturday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Green Avenue: Report of vandalism to a block wall in the 4000 block at 8 p.m. Sunday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Veterans Way: Deputies found three teenagers skateboarding at Newhart Middle School in the 25000 block at 7:35 p.m. Monday. Deputies said the three were caught with marking pens, which police said had been used to vandalize a drinking fountain, a classroom door and a bathroom stall. One of the suspects, a 16-year-old Mission Viejo resident, was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and released to his father.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Lafayette Avenue: A cellular phone worth $250 was stolen from a car in the 3000 block between noon and 2 p.m. Thursday.

ORANGE

* Kathleen Lane: Report of a hit-and-run in the 700 block at 1:33 p.m. Friday.

PLACENTIA

* Kraemer Boulevard: Report of a petty theft in the 1300 block at 3:56 p.m. Saturday.

* Westminster Avenue: A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 4:06 a.m. Saturday.

* Chanticleer Road: A burglary with an audible alarm was reported in the 8000 block at 7:56 p.m. April 13.

TUSTIN

* Newport Avenue: Two 44-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting from a grocery store in the 13200 block at 1:52 p.m. Saturday.
