* Harbor Boulevard: A jacket worth $425 was stolen from a business in the 1900 block at 6 p.m. April 15.

* Holder Street: Report of a vehicle burglary in the 9000 block at 11:56 p.m. April 16.

DANA POINT

* Dana Strand Road: A robbery alarm in the 34000 block was triggered at 8:45 a.m. Sunday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* El Capitan Street: Someone broke into a garage, then tried to get inside the home in the 8900 block, but was unsuccessful and fled at 9:57 p.m. Saturday.

* South Harbor Boulevard: Report of an auto theft in the 1300 block at 12:11 a.m. April 16.

GARDEN GROVE

* Knott Avenue: Police were looking for a man who robbed a Bank of America in the 11000 block Monday. He was described as black, between 25 and 30 years old, 6 feet tall, 150 pounds, short black hair and wearing a tan uniform with orange lettering. * Bolsa Chica Road: A man was bothering people and refused to leave a coffee shop in the 16000 block at 11:46 a.m. Saturday.

IRVINE

* Red Hill Avenue: A tailgate was stolen from a Toyota pickup in the 17300 block; reported at 11:33 a.m. Monday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Tree Top Lane: A rattlesnake was captured on a kindergarten playground in the 21600 block at 3:31 p.m. Monday.

* White Oaks Drive: A woman in the 26600 block reported jewelry was stolen from her bedroom after she left the house unlocked while she was out walking her dog between 5 and 6 p.m. Tuesday.

* West Foxdale Drive: Report of a residential burglary in the 2200 block at 8:49 p.m. April 16.

LAKE FOREST

* El Toro Road: A 16-year-old Lake Forest boy was found passed out in the 23000 block at 4:15 p.m. Sunday. The boy was taken to Saddleback Memorial Hospital in critical condition with seizure and heart problems. He was later released.

* Walker Street: A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 5:04 a.m. Sunday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Bloomfield Street: A resident in the 11100 block reported at 8:37 a.m. Monday that someone had stolen a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

* Fortuna Lane: Gunshots were reported in the 22000 block at 1:27 a.m. Tuesday.

* Starlight Circle: A flag worth $50 was stolen from a home in the 1700 block Saturday.

* 4th Street: A person reported a beached whale at 4:28 p.m. Sunday. Several minutes later the whale was reportedly swimming in the shallow water and then left the area.
