Planning commissioners will decide May 5 whether to grant permission for a restaurant to extend its bar hours. Commissioners on Wednesday had planned to deny granting the new permit to the restaurant, Thien Nga on Beach Boulevard, citing potential problems such as public drunkenness, loitering and noise in an area surrounded by homes. But a decision was delayed at the owner’s request.
