In the never-ending competition for the entertainment dollar in Southern California, the Kings need to take a page not only from their history, but from other attractions.

So the Kings fired Larry Robinson. But did they get the real culprit?

The Kings are desperate for scoring. So what do they do?

They trade a fourth-line player for another fourth-line player (Sean Pronger). At the trading deadline, they trade their fifth-leading scorer (Yanic Perreault) for a minor league player, and trade their second-leading scoring defenseman (Steve Duchesne) for a 37-year-old defenseman.
