LAGUNA WOODS
In an effort to increase awareness of their neighboring wilderness, the executive director of the Laguna Canyon Foundation recently gave board members from Leisure World’s United Mutual a tour of the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park.
Mary Fegraus led John E. Fuler, United Mutual treasurer, Jim Marsh, second vice president, and his wife, Eve, through steep hills providing views of the park and the two other connecting parks: Crystal Cove and Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park.
Fegraus wants the community to be aware of one piece of land slated for development that the foundation is working to buy for preservation.
