THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Wednesday:

ANAHEIM

* Lincoln Avenue at Brookhurst Street: A reckless driver was reported at 8:44 a.m. Tuesday.

BREA

* West Imperial Highway: An indecent exposure was reported in the 400 block at 9:06 p.m. Monday.

BUENA PARK

* Marshall Avenue: Residents returned from their vacation to find muddy footprints on their home’s carpet in the 6300 block at 4:55 p.m. Sunday.

CYPRESS

* Lincoln Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 5000 block at 2:56 a.m. Saturday. Two 18-pack Budweisers valued at $17 were stolen.

DANA POINT

* Taxco Drive: A robbery alarm in the 24000 block was triggered at 10:48 a.m. Tuesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Owaita River Avenue: Someone stole a watch and a stereo system from a home in the 8700 block at 9:53 a.m. Friday.

FULLERTON

* Palm Drive: A burglary was reported in the 3000 block at 10:15 a.m. Friday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Aspen Circle: Someone broke a rear window and damaged the paint of a car parked in the 14600 block at 7 a.m. Sunday.

IRVINE

* Ada and Mauchly Parkway: Police cited a motorist for driving without a license at 1:13 a.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* North Pacific Coast Highway: A man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in the 200 block at 3:04 a.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Cabot Road: A man was detained for shoplifting at a business in the 27900 block at 2:10 p.m. Friday. The suspect told officers he came to the store to steal cigarettes.

LA HABRA

* North Harbor Boulevard: An auto theft was reported in the 800 block at 2 a.m. Saturday.

LAKE FOREST

* El Toro Road and Interstate 5: A traffic collision occurred at 11:43 a.m. Tuesday.

ORANGE

* Santa Clara Avenue at Prospect Avenue: A reckless driver was reported at 12:56 p.m. Tuesday.

PLACENTIA

* North Placentia Avenue: A grand theft was reported at a store in the 1800 block at 11:35 a.m. Monday. A former employee allegedly stole $1,200 from the cash register.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Paseo Carolina: A robbery alarm in the 32000 block was triggered at 7:11 a.m. Monday.

SANTA ANA

* East 17th Street at Tustin Avenue: Report of a traffic collision with no injuries at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday.

STANTON

* Beach Boulevard/Chapman Avenue: Report of reckless driving at 5:58 a.m. Tuesday.

YORBA LINDA

* Carriage Circle: Vandalism was reported in the 16000 block at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Wednesday: Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, San Clemente, Seal Beach, Tustin, Villa Park and Westminster.
