Local embroiderers will exhibit their work at City Hall, 27841 La Paz Road, beginning Dec. 8. At least 20 artists--all members of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America--will hang their original designs in the hallways of City Hall. “A lot of us have taken lessons from Southern ladies,” said Fredda Van Schmus. “If it wasn’t for them, this might be a lost art.”
