Three terms on the Fine Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission will expire in January, and residents are being encouraged to apply for the vacant spots.
The seven-member commission meets at 7 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month in the Los Alamitos council chambers, 3191 Katella Ave. Commissioners are responsible for programming yearly events within the community that promote fine arts.
The City Council is expected to conduct interviews and make appointments Jan. 24 or soon after. Applications must be submitted no later than 4 p.m. Jan. 14.
