LAGUNA BEACH
City streets may not slope so much if the Planning Commission approves a proposal tonight to reduce the maximum street grade to 10%.
The reduction would lower the maximum from the current 15% to meet the standard used by Orange County.
Some planning commissioners are concerned that Laguna’s natural steep topography would not mesh with the new standard.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave.
