Music, Angels Theme for a Festive Home

Paul Garman, the executive producer of Musical Theatre West, now in its new home at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach, has decorated his own Laguna Beach home using angels, Santas and music as his theme.

“My house has hundreds of angels and Santas, and I have 5,000 lights on the trees coming up the pathway and leading up to the house.

“I chose the angels because they are the messengers of great joy, and that’s what the season is all about. They bring tidings of peace, love and joy.

“I work with music, and that’s my background, so that’s the reason I have a lot of musical instruments. There are violins and sheet music in the tree. Angels are singing, . . . and there is a trumpet or two.”
