Quick Fix Might Be a Pipe Dream
That’s a pretty big water pipe rupture in Orange County to fix with one guy and a garden shovel watched by one supervisor (“Residents Unfazed by Pipe Rupture,” Dec. 15).
I’ve passed workers on smaller street projects with at least four guys looking into the ditch while one shoveled.
Don’t forget that Santa will need to wash his sleigh soon.
