The Redevelopment Agency will meet today to consider hiring the Olson Co. to develop new artists’ work and living quarters at 3rd and Sycamore streets and 2nd and Main streets. Part of the Artists Village, the new housing is considered key to the success of the downtown arts district, according to city officials. The agency will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Santa Ana Police Chief’s Conference Room, 60 Civic Center Plaza. Information: (714) 647-6520.
