* Don Stults has been promoted to senior vice president of operations for Iwerks Entertainment, Burbank, the company said. Stults will oversee all aspects of Iwerks’ operations, including product development, project services, engineering, manufacturing and purchasing. He most recently served as vice president of operations.

Iwerks Entertainment Inc. is a full-service provider of film-based entertainment attractions.

* Mahesh Soni has been appointed director of broadband business development with Best Data Products, Chatsworth, the company said. He will be responsible for procuring technology partners and customers in the cable and telecommunications industries and marketing the company’s new high-speed broadband products.

Best Data develops, manufactures and markets data communications products from analog modems top high-speed cable modems.

* David Bartels has been appointed director of sales and marketing for Market Scan, Westlake Village, the company said. He will be responsible for retail installment contracts. Bartels had been with Diamond Technology, where he was vice president of sales and marketing and a member of the board.

Market Scan develops and markets automobile leasing technology.

* Andrew P. Mooney has been named president of Disney Consumer Products Worldwide, Burbank, the company said. Mooney will oversee licensing for the Disney Stores, Disney Interactive and Disney Publishing. He replaces Anne E. Osberg, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities. Mooney had been chief marketing officer and head of global apparel with Nike Inc.

* Robert Musslewhite has been appointed to Act Networks Inc.’s board of directors, the Calabasas-based company announced. Musslewhite is a former senior vice president of corporate development at Marconi/FORE Systems.

ACT Networks develops and manufactures multi-service access products for integrated voice and data networking applications in the information and telecommunications industry.
