The Mission Viejo Library is researching Internet filtering software, which officials hope to have in place on two computers in the children’s section of the library by late January.
Valerie Meyer, director of library services, said they are talking to other libraries that have filtering systems in place as well as looking into the software and filtering programs provided by Cyber Patrol and SurfWatch.
Library officials will present their findings and plan for installing a system to the City Council, which approved the plan this month, at its second meeting in January.
