Century’s Top 20 Songs at Sing-Along Program

Judy Wolman’s adult sing-along company, Sing! Sing! Sing!, issued an invitation in November for the public to choose the top “Twenty Songs for the Twentieth Century.” The results will be presented in a special sing-along program Thursday at the Jazz Bakery in Culver City at 8 p.m.

The songs were to be chosen on the basis of melodic beauty, universal appeal of lyrics, political or historical importance, spiritual message and general artistic merit. The group’s researcher and narrator, Howard Lewis, will provide commentary for the $15 program. Song sheets will be provided. Information: (310) 271-9039.
