Support Offices to Alter Saturday Hours
Family-support offices in Encino and Palmdale will have revised Saturday hours beginning next month, the district attorney’s office announced Monday.
The offices will be open the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Though walk-ins are welcome, parents are encouraged to schedule an appointment by calling (800) 615-8858. Previously, offices were open the second and third Saturdays of each month.
The weekend hours, which apply to all six county offices operated by the district attorney’s Bureau of Family Support, are designed for parents who have problems with their child support cases but are unavailable during the week because of work or child care responsibilities.
Local offices are located at 15531 Ventura Blvd. in Encino and 1020 E. Palmdale Blvd.
